This video is compares four ciders using the same recipe:
- 13.5 flOz (500g) Pro Cider Base (https://www.homebrewohio.com/pro-seri...)
- Water Up to 1 gal
- 1 tsp (3g) DAP
Backsweetened with 17g of Erythritol
I compared the following yeast:
Lallemond Belle Saison
Mangrove Jack M-02
Safale S-04
Redstar Cote de Blancs
All of these yeasts produced a dramatically different flavor profile. From funky and barnyard, to smokey and hammy, to floral and apple. All of these yeasts have a use in cider making.
