Lexus hasn't made an official statement yet but parent company Toyota has filed trademarks with the European Intellectual Property Office about the all-electric TZ SUV, making it more than just a subject of industry gossip. The TZ, we believe, will serve as a more luxurious Lexus-badged version of the upcoming three-row Toyota bZ5X, the two sharing the same platform. Like the Lexus TX three-row SUV announced earlier this year, the TZ could have TZ450e and TZ550e trims that signify battery size, range, and power output. Those details are classified still, but if the RZ450e that's already on sale is any indication, we think that the more affordable TZ could use a similar battery.

Following the launch of Toyota's all-electric bZ5X three-row SUV, Lexus will follow with the TZ, a more luxurious version—but it's still too early to know all the details about it. We'll update this space with information as its released leading up to the TZ's likely launch date sometime in 2025.
