Today I'm showing you what a typical Turkish breakfast might look like.There are a lot of different versions and possibilities. Small dishes with a wide variety are very typical. We're also having menemen, a traditional Turkish egg dish that's a staple for every breakfast.

Tahin pekmez:
3 tbsp of tahini (sesame paste)
2 tbsp of grape syrup
Optionally sesame seeds for decoration

Cocoa tahini:
4 tbsp of tahini (sesame paste)
1 tbsp of honey
1 tsp of hot chocolate mix

Bal kaymak:
2 tbsp of kaymak
1 tbsp of honey
Optionally hazelnut brittle for decoration

Menemen:
2 tbsp of butter
1 green point pepper
4 large tomatoes
3 eggs
0,5 tsp of salt
A pinch of pul biber (paprika flakes)
1 level tsp of oregano

Also:
Cheese (sheep's milk cheese, gouda, braided cheese, ...)
Charcuterie (poultry sausage, sucuk, ...)
Tomatoes
Cucumber
Olives (green & black)
