We had the chance to partner with The Parched Pony to create some of their saddle accessories on our OptiFlex laser system. This video shows the process of laser cutting cowhide leather, which was then used to create their saddle satchels.

The open bed design of the CO2 OptiFlex system allows for an oversized hide to be placed directly onto the table. In this case, we used the vacuum table to hold down the material through the paper masking, to prevent tick marks from the aluminum honeycomb.

Running at 60% power at 5" a second made for quick and easy part cutting compared to manual hand-cutting at home. Thank you Parched Pony for allowing us to showcase your work and your partnership in this video.
