In this third and final episode, Pops and I settle into the Barn Owl hide at Des Ongs photography hides, wrapping up an incredible day of wildlife photography. After a morning with buzzards and an afternoon spent capturing kestrels, we now turn our attention to the mysterious and graceful barn owls.

Armed with our Nikon Z9 cameras and Z400mm f2.8 lenses, we’re fully prepared to capture the beauty of these nocturnal hunters under constant lighting. Watch as we document the barn owls' silent flight, captivating hunting behavior, and those iconic heart-shaped faces. Shooting in low light presents its challenges, but with patience, precision, and the right gear, we manage to capture some truly stunning images of these mesmerizing birds of prey.
