I replace both the brake switch and the cruise control switch on the brake pedal since my push button start is now intermittent, the cause of this intermittent issue is that the car control unit thinks that the brake is not being depressed so it will not issue a start sequence. Replacing the worn out brake switch fixed this problem. Most newer Nissan use this same switch type so this replacement technique should apply to most newer Nissan vehicles. Since my Juke has about 150K miles it I opted to replace both switches since they are both used the same way and should wear about the same. Links for both switches below. Both switches on Amazon were less than $50.00 together.

These were the specific switches for my 2011 Nissan Juke you will have to verify the parts needed for other models or years.
