Welcome, Taffers, to the start of a new age: the Metal Age! This is the first episode of my Thief II Let's Play series, and after (finally) completing Thief Gold last year, I'm eager to undertake a sneaky (but relaxing) new adventure with you! Thief 2 is the second entry in this groundbreaking stealth series, and many veteran taffers will tell you that it's the best. The game refines the groundwork established by Thief: The Dark Project and takes it to the next level with new mechanics and even more immersive and stylish audio and visual design. It's perfect for ASMR, and I'm excited to finally play through this classic from start to finish! Let's get sneaking.

In today's inaugural episode, we play through the entire first level of the game, entitled "Running Interference." We help an old friend, Basso the Boxman, liberate his true love from indentured servitude in the mansion of a rich noble, and along the way, we pick up some choice loot for ourselves!

ASMR triggers include tingly ear-to-ear stereo whispering, incidental mouth sounds, keyboard sounds, mouse clicking, and ambient game sounds like gentle wind, echoing footsteps, whirring machinery, and the muffled thuds of blackjacked guards falling to the ground. I recommend listening with headphones for the best experience! 🎧
