3286 days, that is how long the City of Vancouver has been starved of NHL Playoff action. I remember attending that series against the Calgary Flames in 2015, there was no real buzz in the city. The core was stale and had not really improved since the Stanley Cup run in 2011. The Sedins, Burrows, Bieksa, and Hamhuis could not handle the youth and speed of the Calgary Flames.

Fast forward nine years, and the city has done a complete 180. I have not felt a buzz like this in the lower mainland since 2011. The team is young, fast, big, and plays an exciting brand of hockey. When Dakota Joshua scored the game-winner, it was felt on the Richter scale.
