Craig Leets Jr and Angie Nielsen the Safe Social Spaces program administered by Youthline (https://www.theyouthline.org/), a teen crisis helpline part of Lines for Life. The program monitors six social media apps and reaches out to youth who post about mental health challenges. They provide crisis intervention, resources, and support. The program has a high conversation rate and has been particularly effective in supporting queer and trans youth.

About the 988 Crisis Jam
A national three-digit mental health and suicide prevention crisis hotline is probably the most significant public policy initiative impacting behavioral healthcare since Medicaid expansion. We all have many questions, and the learning collaborative is a forum for us to find solutions together. We seek to learn about “best” practices to apply to 988 and crisis response system optimization. Increasing our collective knowledge is best achieved by engaging with subject matter experts, connecting with peers and other stakeholders, and sharing information. You will find this collaboration stimulating, energizing, and fun, while the content and interchange are pragmatic and enriching. And besides, you will be co-creating a better world.
