Upon using Vivoactive 5, I realised the Body Battery Metric is an estimation from the software and not meticulously measured. I found that it never goes below 5%, which it should have after my all nighter in Catania!

The manufacturer claims that the Vivoactive Battery life is up to 11 days in smartwatch mode, 5 days with the always-on display, and up to 21 hours with GPS use.

Overall, I found the Garmin Vivoactive 5 Sleep Tracking and Coaching to be far superior to that of Fitbit.
