Welcome to part 4 of the Donation Teardrop Build. In this video I show how I build my roof spars to support a vent fan, or Air-conditioner. As always, there's some great info in this video and I only hope this helps with all of your teardrop builds.
Please keep in mind, if you plan to put an AC on the roof, some measurements may differ from the vent fan setup I demonstrate in this tutorial. Additional reinforcements may also be necessary.
In the case with this teardrop, there is no plan to put a roof top AC on it. Which is why I built it the way I did.
Please be smart when building structures to support any significant weight or even consult a professional or specialist. The last thing anyone needs is a heavy AC falling on their head. On the same note, understand how to properly use the power tools necessary to make things like this possible.
