😎You can't be any more WRONG! Welcome to our Cost Saving Tips Series for Milk Tea and Coffee Shops
🥤Many of you are probably using either ready-made fructose or corn syrup in your shops to cut costs. Do you know what's in them? Well, you might not want to know!
🥤When you buy liquid sweeteners, you have to buy them in either per kg, 5kg or 25kg can. If your shop is in the provinces, you still have to spend on the shipping to your shops! 25kg can is a big lot!
🥤If you use crystal sugar, you need to have your base drink warm as it will not be easily dissolved in cold drinks.
🥤Making your own sugar syrup is a cheaper and healthier alternative to Fructose or Corn Syrup. As it is liquid, your base drink does not need to be warm so you would not need to invest in a tea warmer. Also white sugar is readily available in shops near you.
🥤When you make your own, you can estimate how much you need at a time. Sugar syrup vs crystal sugar is cheaper too because you use less sugar - it is diluted with water and yet provide the same sweetness for less.
🥤Here we use concentrated sugar syrup as opposed to simple sugar syrup so as not to dilute your drink too much with water.
🥤The cost is at least 25% cheaper than Fructose. Not to mention healthier!
🥤These recipes are simple enough to follow. You can make a larger proportion at a time so you can make enough for at least a weekly requirement. These sugar syrups can last for up to 6 months in room temperature. No refrigeration is required.

DID YOU KNOW? Beverage producers are swapping their imports of high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) for domestic sugar to avoid higher taxes on the alternative sweetener. These HFCS are also being banned in many places overseas.
