Sharing a fun and easy project that will only take a couple of hours to complete.

You may have seen the fun I had with yo-yos or yoyos or Suffolk puffs making fabric beads in this video: Make a scrap fabric yo-yo bead necklace - Suffolk puffs fabric braid #handsewn #slowstitch
   • Make a scrap fabric yo-yo bead neckla...

My buddy Annie Claxton ‪@artyfartyannie‬ then got inspired to make some fabulous yoyo caddies.

Which in turn inspired me to purchase some larger yoyo makers secondhand and I got to wondering if I could make a pouch or bag entirely out of Suffolk puffs or yo-yos as I love that you don’t have to worry about raw edges.

The Roxy’s journal of Stitchery prompt for April was bag and so it was the perfect opportunity to give this ideas a go. Happily it worked out really well and I share the method and results in this video.

I hope you enjoy this fun and easy slow storch or slow stitching project that is perfect for beginners and great for using your fabric or cloth scraps.

A great project for vintage fabrics.

Have fun!

Cheers,
Christine
