Episode 170 - part 1 pouring wood slices for seminars on epoxy resin for drema 2019
Before Drema 2019, I started preparing wood slices for epoxy resin seminars. We start, of course, with a chisel to clean everything that can fall off. N stack of k690s for angled edges that are uneven. I sand everything so that it looks good. After cleaning, round nut plaster is made on a Felder ad741 thickness planer to achieve an even sanding performance on a wide belt sander at trade fairs. I seal the cracks and make a border with silicone, apply foil and press with chipboard, squeezing everything together. Thanks to this, the resin does not get outside and there will be no leakage. I do the same with the second patch. I am mixing epoxy resin with black pigment and fill all cavities and cracks. After curing, together with the slices, we go to the Drema Fair to Poznań, and the chips are already flying there!;] After grinding on a wide-belt sander to the slices, screwing the legs to hair and we have ready coffee tables.
