I thought this would be a quick brake pad swap, but it escalated quickly. The rotor was too bad to save but the cause was a bad caliper. I replaced both calipers and rotors. The rotors were $20 more each than the full caliper and bracket! Would would have been a job close to $1000 in a shop cost me under $350 with military discount.
