Demonstration showing how to do a deep clean of a dryer to remove built-up lint. This is important to do since excessive amounts of lint can reduce the efficiency of your dryer as well as be a safety/fire concern.

Tool Needed: Phillips-drive screwdriver, Slotted-drive (flat blade) screwdriver, vacuum

Unplug the dryer. Then, remove the top lid by removing two screws in the rear. Next, remove the front control panel, followed by removing the entire front panel. Afterwards, remove the lint trap housing. Finally, remove the flexible dryer duct/vent hose. Now clean everything thoroughly, ideally with a shop vacuum. Reassembly is reverse.

The dryer in the video is an LG DLE3400
