This is an old Ampex AX-300 tape machine from 1971 that I got from the radio station. It's decently high quality, but the playback EQ frequency response leaves much to be desired. Tapes recorded on it have really hot treble and really hot bass, but, that's just how NAB equalization goes.

The song is (after 2 hours of hunting it down) "Kmoe Goes To Europe To Drift, Gets Jumped By Gabbers!" by lulbail and cat.flp -- cat.flp is an extremely good artist with a very modern-and-classic style.

The frequency response of the recording caps out around 16khz or so, and there's a very pronounced turnover frequency mark around 3khz. My friend recorded this tape early in the morning and dropped it off for me (I "concatenated it" onto a reel of other speedcore/rave/hyperpop stuff), but it was actually one of those NAB cart tapes (I'll make a video on two cart machines I have later, hopefully)... the tape media itself was from the late 50s. Great song, though!

Here's a link to the original that I finally scrounged up:
(link was once here, removed because it 404'd)
