These 3 misconceptions about summer lawn care can actually hurt you if you believe them, yet still, so many do. I bust these summer lawn myths in this video, in fact, I demolish them with logic!

Always read the label on products you are applying. I am not always right on everything.

Mixes in video:
Bifenthrin is what I used to kill the sod webworm. It also kills fleas, ticks and mosquitos. I put that sh*t on everything. (within the label of course)

Front End and Far Side:

Insecticide for Sod Webworm
Bifenthrin 7.9% (kills on contact)
.25 oz/1,000
Tekko Pro (insect growth regulator)
.6 oz/1,000

Herbicide for Kyllinga
Halo Select (generic sedgehammer)
.9 grams/1,000

Surfactant
.5 oz/1,000

Good for all grass types.

My Main Stage Palmetto St Augustine:

Insecticide for Sod Webworm
Bifenthrin 7.9% (kills on contact)
.25 oz/1,000
Tekko Pro (insect growth regulator)
.6 oz/1,000

7-0-0 Greene Effect Liquid Fertilizer
8 oz/1,000

Good for all grass types.

Zoysia Patch:

Insecticide for Sod Webworm
Bifenthrin 7.9% (kills on contact)
.25 oz/1,000
Tekko Pro (insect growth regulator)
.6 oz/1,000

Herbicides

Halo Select (generic sedgehammer)
.9 grams/1,000
Celsius Herbicide (broadleaf weeds)
3.2 grams/1,000
Quinclorac (St Augustine in Zoysia)
1.45 oz/1,000

Surfactant
.5 oz/1,000

THIS ONE IS ONLY GOOD FOR ZOYSIA = the Quinclorac in this will kill most other warm season grasses. So if you want to use this mix without the quinclorac then you could use it on any warm season turf including bahia.
The quinclorac did damage the St Aug that invades the zoysia. I'll keep messing with it.
