Everyone should experience the view from Pharaoh Peak at least once in their life. It is simply breathtaking.

Biking in from the Redearth Creek trailhead is the best way to climb Pharaoh Peak if attempting it in a day. The side trips to both Egypt & Scarab Lakes are an additional 5 km. So our day ended up being around 51 km total. 21 kms biking, and 30 km hiking.

Our friends chose a more sensible itinerary and stayed at the Pharaoh Creek backcountry campground.
