In light of the terrorist attacks in Africa (Garissa shootings, Boko Haram in Nigeria, shootings in Mali, and the on going killings in Burundi) and in the world, Njoki Karu wrote Omba to inspire people to stand together as one people and uniting to pray for the world. The song is called "Omba," which means pray, and it is in Kiswahili. The chorus is inclusive of some of the words from the Kenyan national anthem, and the bridge is in a variety of languages from all over the world. Lyrics below.
