I purchased this unit to replace my old portable A/C for my condo. Price is great as I got it on sale. Basic* setup was a breeze and the unit looks beautiful. If you want to set this up on a sliding patio door, purchase an aftermarket sliding door kit (around $50) with a 5" hose connection and forget about the window kit that came with the unit.

*I had no trouble connecting the unit to the DeLonghi app but not to my Alexa (for voice control). Turns out, DeLonghi uses 'Smart Life' as their smart app provider. If you already have a device that uses the 'Smart Life' app, e.g. a robot vacuum, then Alexa won't discover this A/C unit. I had to manually reset the A/C by holding on the 'Mode' button on the unit for 20 seconds, then connect the A/C to my Smart Life app, not the DeLonghi app. Once the connection is made, Alexa discovered the A/C right away. I now can use the Smart Life app and Alexa to control the A/C.
