Did you know this in Hazbin Hotel?

In previous shorts i’ve talked about roo, or the root of all evil. In this short i’ll combine everything together and explain why people think she is the one who gave alastor his powers.

So roo is mentioned several times in helluva boss and has her own unique symbols.

These symbols are also present around alastor when he uses his voodoo powers, meaning there’s clearly a link between the two.

Roo is associated with eyes and we see eyes everywhere in hell, especially where there’s no hope or lots of conflict. The exceptions being the hazbin hotel before the battle, and the cannibal district.

Alastor’s radio room had no eyes, but has lots after the battle.

And the intro cutscene at the start of the show also hinted at eve being roo, since eve’s name is close to evil, and eve was shown with roots and evil eyes.

So combined together. Eve is roo or the root of all evil. Alastor has probably made a deal with eve which is where he got his powers from. And we’ll see her as a villain later in the series.
