New surfboards are exciting. And so is setting them up for the first time. That's why we created this video, showing the Omni and Sci-Fi getting laced up with Slater Designs Traction.

Slater Designs Traction is the first surf traction product of its kind. It's made with Bloom Foam. Bloom sources Algae from lakes and ponds that are at risk of toxic algal blooms, and they use that algae to make flexible foams.

Our favorite part? Each Slater Designs pad represents 28 gallons of filtered, clean water returned to the natural environment.

Slater Designs Traction is in surf shops in a 5 piece arch design, and a four piece flat design.
