Hey hey hey Blooming Beauties 👋🏾
It has been a while since I posted videos on my social platforms but I am committed to putting in more effort to post consistent content during this winter break. In this recipe I did not use an emulsifying wax to have a more firm product, instead, I opted to use a recipe that was more on the simple side. The benefits of coffee scrubs includes reducing the appearance of cellulite, eliminating dead skin cells, improving blood circulation, and many more.
This sugar scrub was as fluffy as a cloud ☁️ but provided such a great exfoliation for my skin. Crafting your own cosmetics allows your creative instincts to blossom, so if you're passionate about anything, chase it until you can achieve it.
Ingredients:
🤎 Distilled water
🤎 Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) Noodles
🤎 Cocamindopropyl Betaine
🤎 Glycerin or Sodium Lactate
🤎 Stearic Acid
🤎 Sugar of your choice
🤎 Coffee
🤎 Vanilla Bean Powder https://amzn.to/3ucq2sa
🤎 Caffeine Extract
🤎 Preservative
Instructions: Add your distilled water, SCI, cocamindopropyl betaine, and glycerin (of sodium lactate) to a bowl. In a separate container add your stearic acid. Cover both containers and double boil to melt down the ingredients. Once both have cooled below 122 degrees F, combine the contents of both bowls into one. After mixing until fluffy, Voila, you have foaming bath whip from scratch and now you can add sugar and any other ingredients your heart desires to create a scrub.
