Jelly Candy Recipe
By @Cooking with Hel

Ingredients:
- 200 gr sugar
- 200 ml water
- 1 sachet (7 gr) jelly
- food coloring according to taste

Instructions:
- Mix all ingredients, cook until thickened like cotton candy but can still be stirred.
- Pour on a baking tin, it is fit to use a 25x25 baking tin or just make it thin.
- After drying sprinkle with refined sugar. Do not sprinkle on the end of one of its edge so that it can stick when rolled.
- Cut according to taste.
- Wind it until hard and dry.
- Store in a closed container, you may add a sprinkling of refined sugar.

Tips:
- Cooking time and thickness of the jelly will determine the result.
- For the rolled version, it has to be thick like cotton candy, but can still be stirred, so that it doesn't break when rolled. And remember don't cook it too long, that can turn out to be a real cotton candy.
- In case it breaks when rolled, because the texture is similar to jelly, the solution is to re-cook it until melting and then roll it again
- If you are not going to roll it, but only cut it, you don't need to worry about the thickness. Once it is dry, just cut according to taste. The thickness when pouring is also free, according to taste.
- Regarding the drying, it depends on the cooking time. The more time to cook the faster the drying progress. Suppose we only cook just until boiling, the drying process in the sun can take 2-4 days, until dry and sugar crystals come out.
- But if the cooking time is long and thick, it won't take too long to dry. It will be dry already in few hours or 1 day aired in room temperature. But don't cook it too long also if you don't want it to become real cotton candy.

Good luck.
