Five people have been arrested for public violence in Sharpeville in the Vaal. This after a businessman was fatally shot and shops belonging to foreign nationals were looted.

Gauteng police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi says the situation remains tense and police continue to fire rubber bullets to try and disperse the crowds.
