Brothers MIKE and HERB VAN DORT were originally from Singapore, but then relocated to Malaysia with the family. At the height of Beatlemania, they earned the nickname of The Beatles of Malaysia.

This song was an original composition, music by Dickie Tan and lyrics by Mike van Dort.

By 1966, when this record was released, The Silver Strings were backing two solid headliners in their concerts, Shirley Nair and also Mike and Herb.
