The UNESCO World Heritage site at Białowieża Forest is absolutely beautiful. It's an incredible natural landscape, full of old growth forest, and home to the last remaining European bison - an animal that I wasn't previously aware of! The forest these days is even home to a breeding program for these magnificent animals.
