Stock(육수, pronounced "Yook-soo") is very important in Korean cooking, just using the stock will make a big difference to your soup, stews, & side dishes! With basic ingredients, it is so easy to make with simple steps!

한식 만능 육수(Hansik manneung-yuksu) | Versatile Korean stock(yields 4 cups)
Dried kelp(kombu) 10X10cm 1 sheet
Dried large anchovies ½ cup(20 anchovies)
Dried shiitake mushroom 2 ea.
3 stalks of green onion(½ stalk Asian leek) 1 cup
Daikon radish 1 cup
Large yellow onion ¼ ea. (Medium onion ½ ea.)
Garlic 2 cloves
Water 5 cups(1.2L)
