I recorded this during a private lesson (hence unscripted and background noise) but it covers the key points I want to stress so for refining your bow rudder.

My 3 key points of focus are body position and how to hold the paddle, where the blade enters the water, and the blade angle in the water:

1) My body position and how you hold the paddle is 'strong' and provides more control with less risk of injury or capsize.

2) Where the paddle enters the water controls the pivot point - where the turn begins and how 'tight' a turn you get.

3) The blade angle controls the speed of the turn.

While this was recorded using a Euro blade, the principle is the same with s Greenland stick, though the blade will usually be deeper in the water.
