Sup' fam here it is a brand new mixtape serie called "the producer series" wich focus on legendaries hip-hop producers.

Today it's time to celebrate, one of the greatest producers in hip-hop history, Preemo is probably the best sample digger, Pete Rock the more jazzy/soul, but Easy Mo Bee is easily the best when it's time to speak about drums and how a track supposed to sound and make head nod.

As a humble beatmaker, I'm very inspired by his work and how he can articulate the samples to make it a coherent and melodious whole.

I recommend you to check out his few interviews on youtube, especially the anecdote on the beat Machine Gun Funk, which was originally made for his mate Soul Survivor and how Biggie asked him to add the classic LOTUG sample in the chorus.
