Mead is a centuries old, traditional alcoholic drink made from honey and it can be flavoured with fruit for an extra special drink.

In this video we show how to create a "must" for blackberry mead (properly called blackberry melomel). In this video we cover choice of honey, preparing the fruit, eliminating pectin and wild yeast, creating a good environment for fermentation, hygiene and more.

We will create a part 2 video showing clearing, bottling and other steps required after fermentation.
