In this video, I tackle one of my most challenging jewelry repairs to date. A loyal customer sent back a silver ring with a beautiful rose-cut kyanite gemstone after the band broke near the soldered joint. The tricky part? The break is dangerously close to the stone, making the repair process much more complicated. I was nervous going into it, and let’s just say... it didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped. From melted metal to cracked stones, this repair tested my skills and patience in ways I wasn’t expecting.
