A heartbreaking look at the bushfires that ravaged Australia in 2020, told through the perspective of a survivor returning to the family home after the fires. The film is an ode to the 3500 family homes lost in the 2020 fires.

The seventh film by writer director Alex von Hofmann. Alex shot all the footage for this film while in East Gippsland and around Bairnsdale in early 2020. All of the footage was shot in 4k on a simple Mavic Air drone. Despite the entry level drone, the quality of the footage is beautiful. It played in cinemas at a number of festivals around the world and really holds up.
