These are the recordings of a 3-Day intensive workshop to create original creature designs.

DAY 1: Borrowing from the traditional kit bashing techniques we’ll create our own set of abstract objects to then add to a base mesh and explore unique silhouettes and forms. You can create multiple sets with different styles of objects (soft forms vs sharp edges) to create very different styles in your concepts. This is a general idea for something that works in a variety of software so it is not unique to ZBrush. you can even do something similar in 2D.

In this video we are actually going to create the IMM brush in ZBrush using the multiple pieces that we have optimised plus a couple of extra things to keep in mind when you build your 'kitbashkit'
