As a key member of the University leadership team, the Vice President for Research, Innovation and Impact will be an accomplished leader and distinguished academic committed to the highest standards of research excellence.

They will provide vision and leadership for the strategic development and communication of our research, innovation and impact, ensuring UCD continues to be one of Europe’s leading research-intensive universities.

UCD delivers research and innovation at scale and in areas of national and global significance by prioritising excellence and impact, investing in our people and providing a culture and environment in which they are supported to succeed.

We are the national leader in research publication volume, postgraduates and Horizon Europe funding, and last year we secured over €155 million in competitive research grants.
