This is by no means a Lee vs. Dillon comparison video. I'm sure folks will take sides and tell me why one is better/worse than the other anyways as that just seems to be part of the blue/red "battle lines".

No secret I'm a big Lee fan as their products are what got me into reloading in the first place and I continue to purchase Lee product (e.g., recent inline bullet feeding die solution). I also look at the value of what I'm purchasing. Sometimes I do deep (e.g., Hornady Case Prep Center), while other times I remain cost/value focused (e.g., LCT press). At the end of the day, to each their own.

I thought I'd show what comes in a 3 die set pistol caliber offering from each vendor. Same-ish product, with slightly different offerings. What surprised me the most recently is the pricing of Lee dies. In my ramp up days of buying dies I was paying $30-$35 for a 3 die set, a but more for the 4 die set that include the factory crimp. Those prices have almost doubled based on current prices and only seem to be going in one direction, so the "value" position of Lee is changing from what it used to be. Still less expensive, but is the delta worth is today?
