Why are preparing for our 2023 organic corn crop in the winter of 2022?! We are getting our red clover frost seeded into the fields that will be harvested as winter wheat this year. Freezing and thawing of the late winter/early spring will get the tiny red clover seeds just the right amount of soil contact! The red clover will not only act as a cover crop protecting the soil all of this year and over next winter, but it will also be producing nitrogen that is key to growing a healthy organic corn crop in 2023! :D Thanks for watching!!!
