I made the playlists based on user-generated keywords that do not always correspond to the actual song. For instance, it might happen for a british rock song to have been labeled as US rock. I personnaly find it interesting to have some of this randomness in blindtests -- it's not a bug, it's a feature.

This is also related to the difficulty (easy, medium, hard), which is computed according to the popularity of the song. This is why some recent cover of less popular old songs may appear.

If a blindtest is completely off the tracks, do not hesitate to write to me or comment the video so that I can correct it.

Note that I do not get to choose advertisement parameters, Youtube is forcing it for copyright reasons. For a similar reason, some artefacts of songs that have been trimmed out by Youtube anti-copyright algorithm might be present (like 0.5s song residuals).
