I named this painting Mildred. Actually my friend Kirsten named it, and I love the name! Her full name is Mildred Alina - you know how I love naming my paintings :-) Thank you for helping me pick their names on my Instagram lives!

This oil painting was a bit different, throughout the whole process I felt like she was painting herself and guiding me through different and exciting directions , such an amazing feeling! This gave me such a new perspective on painting, I really felt her life force radiating from the brushes. That is exactly what I want to be doing with my life, creating living beings that will be here long after I am gone.
