Sri Kalyana Venkateswaraswamy Temple is a Hindu Vaishnavite Temple of Vadakalai tradition and is situated at Narayanavanam, a town in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh state. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Kalyana Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu. The Temple is located 2 km east of Puttur and 45 km south of Tirupati. It is belived that Lord Venkateswara wedded Padmavati at this place and afterward moved to Tirumala. The Temple administration is maintained by TTD. There is a 5 storied Gopuram worked at the passageway of this Temple. Narayanavanam is accepted to be the capital of Karvetinagar lords of Surya Vamsam in olden days. This old Temple of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy was accepted to be worked by a sibling of Padmavati Ammavaru and the child of Akasha Maharaja. It is trusted that the Lord Sri Venkateswaraswami has hitched the Goddess Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru, the little girl of Akasa Maharaja at this place. There is a typical conviction that the Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi offered supplications to Goddess Sri Avanakshamma before her marriage with Lord Venkateswara Swamy at this place.
