DEF supply Pump in located inside the DEF tank and is controlled by the EMS ECU . The DEF supply Pump is a solenoid operated plunger Pump. The high side & low side of the Pump is controlled by EMS ECU. The turns on and pressurizes the DEF in the supply line to an operating pressure of 6.6 Bar when the T5 temperature is 150 Deg C.
