(ZANIS) President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has reaffirmed government's commitment to invest in the aviation sector in the Northern Corridor to open up the Northern Circuit.

President HICHILEMA says government remains steadfast to achieve this as can be seen by the rehabilitation of Kasama Airport to international standards.

He says government will also construct airports in Nakonde and Chinsali to international standards as a way of opening up the areas for business.

The Head of State said this at Kasama airport before departing for Nakonde where he has officiated at the Umutomolo traditional ceremony of the Namwanga people.
