An official with the rocket and missile unit of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has been killed after the Israeli military carried out an airstrike in southern Lebanon close to the border with the 1948 occupied territories. In a statement published on its Telegram channel on Monday, Hezbollah announced the death of Mustafa Hassan Salman, known as Abu Hassan – a resident of the town of Qlaileh in the Tyre district. The Israeli military, for its part, stated that Abu Hassan was an official with Hezbollah’s rocket and missile unit, and was killed in a drone strike in southern Lebanon overnight Sunday.
