Meet Samuel Nyorri, a pig farmer hailing from Kiambu, who has also been a beneficiary of an AFC loan. Sammy, as he is widely known, embarked on his agricultural journey by initially venturing into broiler farming. However, after a thorough analysis of the financial prospects, he discerned that both dairy and broiler farming yielded minimal profits. Consequently, he made a strategic decision to explore the realm of pig farming. Commencing with just four three-month-old piglets, Sammy has since witnessed remarkable growth in his enterprise, now overseeing a thriving herd of over 200 pigs.
