I think that we all know that hollow feeling that you get when you drop something that's expensive and fragile. Well, I unscrewed my GoPro Hero 9 Black with the Max Mod Lens from my construction tripod. After many close calls, this time it fell to the concrete, and naturally, landed on the lens itself, causing some pretty deep nicks and scratches. I realized on a ride a day or so after it happened that this needed to be repaired or replaced. A long-shot attempt using a Dremel like tool with metal buffing compound actually got decent results, which I believe would work great if the scratches were shallow, but these were actually kind of deep.
