Talk given by Ms. Karen Webb on February 3rd, 2024

Karen is a long-time Bahá'í who, easing into retirement, followed a long-time dream of returning to school to study comparative religion. She has recently completed her MA in Religious Studies at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. Although she considers herself more of a theologian than an historian, she chose to write a comprehensive English biography of Quddus as her thesis project, in part because our information in English on this extraordinary Bábi figure is fragmented, and because there is no one English source that tells his whole story. She and her husband are currently homefront pioneers in rural/suburban Utah, where they live with four children, one human and three feline. Her next project will be continuing with a fantasy series that incorporates a lot of Bahá'í material while still being a good read!
