I had always dreamed of visiting Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. I had seen pictures of its majestic towers, its intricate carvings, and its serene moat. But nothing prepared me for the experience of walking with the ancient people who built it.
I joined a guided tour that offered a special opportunity to explore the temple complex at dawn, before the crowds arrived. We met at the entrance gate and walked along the causeway that led to the main temple.
As we approached the temple, I felt a strange sensation. It was as if I had stepped into another era, another world. I looked around and saw that the other tourists had disappeared. Instead, I was surrounded by people dressed in colorful robes and jewelry, carrying baskets, tools, and offerings. They smiled and nodded at me, as if they recognized me as one of them.

I realized that I had somehow traveled back in time to the 12th century, when Angkor Wat was built by King Suryavarman II. I followed the crowd into the temple, where I saw priests performing rituals, musicians playing instruments, dancers moving gracefully, and artisans carving scenes on the walls. I felt a sense of awe and wonder at the beauty and harmony of the architecture, the art, and the culture.
I knew that it would always remain a symbol of human achievement, creativity, and spirituality.
I knew that it would always inspire wonder, admiration, and respect.
I knew that it would always be Angkor Wat.

ខ្ញុំបានដឹងថាវានឹងនៅតែជានិមិត្តរូបនៃសមិទ្ធិផលរបស់មនុស្ស ការច្នៃប្រឌិត និងខាងវិញ្ញាណ។
