Talk given by Miss Paymaneh Parhami on October 5, 2024

Paymaneh is one of the cofounders of Bahá'í Faith Modern Perspectives. She is an attorney who practices intellectual property litigation at a law firm in San Francisco. She has a J.D. from Berkeley Law School with a certificate in Law and Technology, and graduated cum laude from Columbia University with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Chemistry. Between college and law school, Paymaneh volunteered at the Bahá'í World Centre in Haifa, Israel for one year as the Administrative Assistant of the Department of Security. Currently, she is involved in organizing meaningful, spiritual spaces for the youth of San Francisco. Paymaneh hopes to use her skills to follow the Bahá'í exhortation to "[b]e anxiously concerned with the needs of the age ye live in, and center your deliberations on its exigencies and requirements.".
