This was a real adventure, lot's of variety on this hike and wild camp! I head up to Higher Shelf Stones from Glossop on a cloudy day to be greeted with a moody, windy and clagged out ascent. The next morning things change dramatically and I get to enjoy stunning views of the area with dramatic cloud inversions and sunlight. I take in the amazing RB29A Superfortress crash site near Bleaklow. As I make my way back to Glossop I found what I thought to be Ferny Hole, a small cave under the rocks. Having done further research today after publishing the video I have found out that it wasn't actually the right place, I will have to re-visit this!
